Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the pair met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
